The barbecue makes the difference at dinners of the Bossa Nova Restaurant, as well as the music which is often live on site, on the terrace area (seasonal). The thematic buffets and freshness of the ingredients do the rest. However, Salgados Dunas Suites offers other options for food and drinks: the Jazz Bar for drinks into the wee hours of the night, the signature cuisine restaurant L14, and the Rooftop Rooftop Salgados Lounge @14 (seasonal) on the 3rd floor of the L14 building right in front of the hotel.

Chef Vítor Monteiro signs the fusion cuisine of the Restaurant L14 located in Herdade dos Salgados, which is part of Salgados Dunas Suites, at the L14 building right in front of the hotel.
The restaurant's focus is on the Surf & Turf concept, which originated in the 1960's on the Atlantic coast of the United States, where lobster and filet mignon were served on the same plate. From this union, where classic and modern recipes intersect, we may taste from a sophisticated corn soup with smoked butter, to scallops with peas and lime risotto, Surf & Turf with loin steak and lobster or the majestic Steak Wellington.
For the L14 menu, the cuisine bet on the perfect combination of the best of both worlds, where the local produce, meat and freshness of the fish and seafood from our coast provide a gastronomic experience of unparalleled flavor. In a space abundant with natural light where there are always places in the sun, on the outdoor terrace, located flavours are served with a dash of the world. Meals are ended with sweet touches of the south, the product of orange, almond and carob trees, creations of tradition and ancient lore as well as hospitality and friendliness.
This is where the best dessert of the Algarve can be tasted – fig fondant with ice-cream of pennyroyal and medronho (strawberry tree fruit liqueur) – an award won at the Mediterranean Gastronomy Festival.
